On the second anniversary of the launch of the European Union's green transformation program REPowerEU, a report shows that as the demand for rooftop solar photovoltaic power generation soars, the number of rooftop solar installations in the European Union has also grown. Among them, Romania, Greece and France are the top three. Overall, most EU member states have made some progress in promoting rooftop solar PV, with total electricity generation up 54% year-on-year. To meet the demand for electricity generation, EU member states will also continue to expand grid capacity, promote energy sharing, deploy smart meters, raise public awareness and increase the number of skilled workers.
