The world's highest altitude solar thermal power plant project ushered in a major node
2024-05-07 14:09Spring comes early, return to work day and night. The mainland has long been warm in spring, green, and in the 4500 meters above sea level Shandong Power Construction third company to build the Tibet Zabuye comprehensive energy EPC project, is still cold, the temperature is still below zero, but the project execution team is not independent, quickly organize the force, decompose the target, make plans, and mobilize to resume work.
Molten salt tank is the most important heat storage equipment for trough solar thermal projects, with high installation quality requirements and strict process control by the project department. After acceptance by acceptance units at all levels, the foundation of the molten salt tank was handed over as scheduled. On March 16, the floor of the molten salt tank began to be laid and the installation of the molten salt tank officially began.
In view of the harsh environment of hypoxia, large temperature difference between day and night, and extreme weather in the local Tibetan plateau, the project execution team rationally arranged the construction task, organically combined the change of natural conditions with the construction schedule, dynamically adjusted the construction progress, adhered to the stability of progress, and composed a poem of advancing on the snowy plateau with practical actions.
Xizang Zabuye Integrated Energy EPC Project is located in the southeast of Zabuye Salt Lake, about 165 kilometers away from Zhongba County, Xigaze City. The site is more than 4,500 meters above sea level. It is the world's first high altitude area at the end of the power grid, with trough solar thermal power station as the main power supply to realize clean energy isolated network operation. Provide 24 hours a day safe, stable, reliable comprehensive energy supply of the first test "Everest" project. The project consists of power supply (solar thermal + photovoltaic), load (electricity, steam), energy storage (heat storage + electrochemical energy storage), power transformation and distribution and control system to form a thermoelectric integrated energy isolated network system, including 40 MW trough solar thermal power station, 35 MW photovoltaic power station, 20 MW to 40 MWH electric energy storage, in line with the national 14th Five-Year new energy development direction and sustainable development policy. It also provides energy support for the development of lithium resources in the salt lake, drives the economic development of Tibet, and has good energy saving and environmental protection effects and social benefits.
